What An Incredible Weekend In The Water!
Submitted By calin on Monday, May 01, 2017
The KW Inferno hosted  an action packed 14U Provincial Championship this past weekend‎ at WLU.

Our bo‎ys team battled their hearts out each and every game finishing in 6th place among the field of 8 teams.  The boys provided our spectators with a treat in watching them compete in 4 closely matched games. Our players should be proud of their gritty play throughout the weekend and their impressive development over the season.

Our girls team went undefeated in the round robin defeating Ottawa Titans, Capital Wave and the Mavericks before‎ suffering a loss in a rematch with  Mavericks in the gold medal game. Congratulations on a Silver Medal performance girls and advancement to the Eastern National Championships. We are all looking forward to your performance on the National stage!

A special thanks to Kyle Devitt as our tournament Director who dedicated many hours to make this event a success. Also to Sonja Bilicic who coordinated a very welcoming hospitality room. And finally, to all the volunteers who helped make this event a success.

Our coaches, led by Coach Keelan, battled alongside our players at this competitive event. Their dedication and commitment always needs to be recognized!
