Summer Water Polo is back at Harry Class pool from July 7, 2025 through to August 28, 2025!, News (K-W Water Polo)

New players are welcome to come Try Us Out for 2 weeks at no cost on Wednesday nights.  For insurance purposes, anyone wanting to try us out must register before getting into the pool.  Registration can be completed here: Summer Try it Out. 

To continue with summer water polo after the free trial period, there is a fee of $26.79 to our governing bodies for insurance coverage through August 31 2025, and $5/week for our learn to play sessions.  

Where is Summer Water Polo?

Harry Class Pool in Kitchener:  45 Woodside Ave, Kitchener, ON N2M 1A4

NOTE:  unless the pool is closed, we will hold practice.  In the event of inclement weather, we will abide by the rules of the pool, which are typically that everyone is out of the pool for 30 minutes following any lightning, or if the lifeguards are concerned about safety.  We cannot predict the weather so please plan accordingly. If there is a planned closure of the pool we will notify via email.

When is Summer Water Polo?

Summer Water Polo runs each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Monday July 7, 2025 through until Thursday August 28, 2025. As with previous years, athletes are welcome to come out any night but they must be comfortable with that night's focus/programming.  Each night has a different program focus so please see below or check your teams calendars for scheduled nights:

Monday Nights from 7:30pm - 8.30pm 

• Deep end only: Adult program

• Anyone 19+ interested in coming out to play is welcome.  To register please contact [email protected]

• Any current 18U player interested in attending are also welcome

Tuesday Nights from 7:30pm - 8:30pm

• Shallow end:  Junior Krakens (10U & 12U); coached by Sarah B

• Deep end: 12Us comfortable with the deep end & 14U players; coached by Trinity 

Wednesday Nights from 7.30pm - 8:30pm

• Shallow end: Junior Krakens (10U & 12U) + any new-to-waterpolo (try us out) players; coached by Trinity 

• Deep End: 14U, 16U and 18U players; coached by Oskar / Ken

Thursday Nights from 7.30pm -8.30pm

• Deep end only:  16U/18U players; coached by Oskar / Ken
