KW Inferno & Toronto Jets
Our U14 KW Black team travelled down to Toronto this past week to visit their rivals, the Toronto Jets.  However, this trip was not to play water polo but to acknowledge a fellow athlete during a difficult time.
KW Black became aware at last week’s U14 Provincial Championships that Kosta from the Toronto Jets is scheduled for open heart surgery next week.  This procedure will sideline Kosta for an indefinite amount of time and leave his water polo future uncertain.  Under the initiative of Brodie Schiller, and out of respect and compassion the entire KW Black team wanted to express their well wishes for Kosta.

They presented him with the Game Ball used during the final match of KW Black against the Toronto Jets.  All the players from KW Black and the Jets team had signed the ball.   This was an exceptional display of sportsmanship which our entire club can be proud of.  The gesture was very much appreciated by Kosta, his family and the entire Jets club.
