Why we do Bingo
The revenues from our Bingo sessions are included in our budget. They dramatically lower the fees that must be charged for each club member. The monies generated pay for pool time and tournament costs. To understand the significance, our treasurer has estimated that the Bingo fundraiser will raise approximately $14,000.00 this season.
KW Water Polo Club is responsible for Bingo sessions held every fourth Sunday from 8:25 am to 1:00 pm starting October 1st to September 30th the following year of any given season. This is a year round commitment which will require volunteers during the summer months. Each session is staffed by between 5 and 6 members.
It is essential that each member participate to make this fundraising commitment a success.

Member Volunteer Requirements
It is mandatory for each family to help at TWO Bingo sessions throughout the season for each athlete registered. Signup occurs during registration and if necessary, after. Due to the significant time already invested by these volunteers: Board members, parent coaches, team managers and Bingo captain(s) are not required to volunteer for Bingo sessions although they may choose to do so.
Signup forms for eligible dates are listed under Fund Raising in the menu above. Click on the appropriate form and fill it out to volunteer for that date. Each form has a hard cap of 4 people per session. If no more sessions are listed, or the hard cap has been reached, please contact [email protected] to discuss your options.
Post-dated cheque(s), dated May 15, 2023, must be provided at registration, in the amount of $500 for each athlete, as security for completing the Bingo sessions. It will not be cashed unless you do not complete your Bingo commitment by the last session in September 2023.
