U16Boys NCL Montreal Weekend
This past weekend our U16 boys team competed in their First NCL tournament in Montreal.
We played in five tough games and the boys really showed their quality by competing hard right until the end of the tournament on Sunday afternoon. Despite our 1-4 record, we had very good games against all of the other teams. Even in the losses, we were keeping up with our opponents for much of the games and this shows that with continued training we’ll continue to be competitive with the other teams in the league. As our first tournament, we were focused on scouting the competition and identifying our own strengths and weaknesses as a team. This aspect of the weekend was a success. We all learned a lot and will be focused on continuing to develop as a team for the next league weekend in January. Overall it was an excellent weekend and everyone involved had a ton of fun!
