15U Girls Eastern Nationals
Thank you at all clubs who helped host and officiate this years 15U Eastern Nationals at the Pan Am Centre in Markham over the weekend of May 3-5, 2024.
Our 15U girls were once again excited to partner with Forest City (FCWP) and compete for a chance at being "best in the east". The competition started on Friday with a tie game against Shadow, and a win against Mavericks. Saturday started with a win against Titans 2, securing us a place in the top 4.
The girls faced Capital Wave in the semi finals, playing strong and showing lots of grit, but ultimately lost; pitting us against Shadow for the bronze medal game. The bronze medal game was fast paced and evenly matched right up to the 4th quarter when Shadow scored twice and kept the lead.
Congratulations to our friends from Scarborough for a hard won bronze medal....we'll see you next time!!
And a special shout out to our very own Claire Jackson who made the All Stars team for the 15U girls division.
We are proud of all our athletes for showing determination, perseverance and sportsmanship throughout the weekend.
