Krakens @ OFSAA 2025 Swim
Congratulations to our Krakens - Kevin
Pezzak, Alexandra Tole, Audrey Darling and Amanda Read - who qualified
to compete at Ofsaa swimming this year.
The kids (and parents) woke up early to make the trek to the Toronto Pan Am Centre on March 4th and 5th. The meet was very well organized and operated like clockwork with over 400 secondary schools across Ontario being represented by their fastest swimmers.
Our Krakens worked hard and had great results for their schools:
Kevin swam the boys 15+ 200 meter medley relay where BCI (Bluevale Collegiate Institute) placed 41st in Ontario, the individual 100 meter freestyle placing 27th, and the boys 200 meter freestyle relay where BCI placed 23rd.
Alexandra swam the girls 15+ 100 meter freestyle, placing 39th for Pere Rene de Galinee.
Audrey swam the girls 14U 200 meter medley relay where KCI (Kitchener Collegiate Institute) placed 7th. She also swam the girls 14U 200 meter freestyle relay where KCI placed 15th, and the individual 100 meter freestyle where she placed 28th.
Amanda also swam for Kitchener Collegiate Institute (KCI) placing 15th in the 14U 200 meter freestyle relay.
Great job Krakens, we are so proud of you!!
In addition to our Kraken athletes, we were excited to see some familiar names from Forest City Water Polo and Hamilton Water Polo at Ofsaa. These athletes play alongside our 16U Krakens all season, and we were happy to be able to cheer on our friends Lenny Vareka, Aubrey Maar, Kennedy Brown, Abby Phillips and Kristopher Maar. If I missed any friends I apologize - there was so much to watch!
Congratulations again to our Krakens and friends for your amazing achievements!
