16u Girls place 2nd at Paul Taylor Invitational tournament
Our 16u girls placed 2nd in the season's first tournament running October 24-26, 2025, in Etobicoke.
Partnering with the 16u girls from Mavericks Water Polo, our girls played their first game together Friday morning, pairing up against Capital Wave 1. Capital Wave 1 pulled ahead in the first period and never looked back. Our girls continued to challenge but couldn't catch the wave.
After a lengthy rest, they returned to the pool Friday evening to play Brooklyn Hustle. This team came all the way from New York City and the girls were excited to play a new team. Our girls applied learnings from their earlier game and pushed through for their first win.
Saturday came with a game against Capital Wave 2 where the girls continued to showcase their teamwork and skills, earning their second win.
Sunday pitted us against our friends and former teammates with Titans. The teams went back and forth on points with the Mavs/KW partnership ultimately pulling ahead for the win.
Thank you to coaches Elena and Trinity for helping our girls achieve 2nd place.
