The water polo season runs from September to May. For 10u we split the season into 2 sessions because we understand that not all young kids want to commit for a full season.
Our 10u program welcomes you into the world of a Junior Kraken. The goals of our Jr Kraken program is to offer a well balanced, co-ed swimming program that introduces athletes to the great sport of water polo. With a focus on basic fundamentals and team play, this program will allow your child to gain confidence in the water all while learning about a fast-paced sport in a fun and engaging program.
Program cost: $450 / session
What is included?

All coaching and training 2x a week

60 min practice Thursday nights from 6:00pm - 7:00pm

60 min practice Saturday morning from 10:00am - 11:00am

Club t-shirt for all athletes who register at the start of the season
What is extra?

Ontario Water Polo (OWP) & Water Polo Canada (WPC) fees for player registration with national and provincial governing bodies. These fees are paid directly to OWP and WPC via RAMP and cover a full year of registration and insurance

Tournaments- we encourage attendance at a couple of local tournaments to get experience with competition play. Tournament fees are dependent on the location and duration of the tournament. Additional discussion will be had with parents / coaches and team manager(s) to confirm details of tournament opportunities

Refundable volunteer fee (see Volunteering (K-W Water Polo) for details on volunteer commitment requirements)
Note: Strong individuals in this age divisions may be considered for the club's 12U program. Coaches will reach out to parents of athletes who exhibit the skills required for advanced placements.
