Summer Water Polo is back at Harry Class pool from July 2, 2024 through to August 29, 2024! Same nights, same time, but one slight change…new this year - we will have both the deep end and the shallow end!
New players are welcome to come Try Us Out anytime over the summer at no cost!
New players (new-to-water-polo), and our youngest Krakens will start in the shallow end to learn and enhance some water polo basics. Once comfortable with the basics, you can move to the deep end to participate in more structured practices.
Practices in the deep end will be tailored to specific age groups but all members are welcome to join and partake. Sessions will be tailored as outlined below.
Where is Summer Water Polo?
Harry Class Pool in Kitchener: 45 Woodside Ave, Kitchener, ON N2M 1A4
NOTE: unless the pool is closed, we will hold practice. In the event of inclement weather, we will abide by the rules of the pool, which are typically that everyone is out of the pool for 20 minutes following any lightning, or if the lifeguards are concerned about safety. We cannot predict the weather so please plan accordingly. If there is a planned closure of the pool we will notify via email (for new-to-water-polo players please see below for the form you need to fill in)
When is Summer Water Polo?
Summer Water Polo runs from Tuesday July 2, 2024 through until Thursday August 29th, 2024 at the following times:
Tuesday Nights from 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Wednesday Nights from 7:30pm - 830pm
Thursday Nights from 7:30pm - 8:30pm
For any new-to-water-polo players, we require that you fill in our Try It Out Registration and Waiver Form which lets us know that you are coming and provides us with an email address to contact you if there is a planned change to the schedule.
Will there be a seniors night this summer?
Yes we will have a seniors night on Mondays, deep end only. This is a separate program from Summer Water Polo. If you are 19+ and interested in playing with our seniors group, please reach out to [email protected] for more information
