Hello Inferno Families,

Congratulations to our U16 Girls who competed at the National Club Championships in Montreal this past weekend.  The Girls finished in 9th position of 14 teams despite having 4 wins and 2 losses at the event.  The team was seeded in the most challenging division to advance to the top 8.  They went 1 and 2 in dropping games to Team Saskatchewan  (13-6) who finished as Silver Medalist despite being seeded 11th for the event and Fraser Valley (9-7) who were seeded 3rd while defeating Edmonton Thunderbirds (17-1).  KW Inferno finished off the event with three straight wins versus: CAMO Bleu (12-3), Mavericks (9-8) and Saanich (21-7).

The following players were acknowledged with Game All-star Selections: Tori Wilson (5), Madeline Welsman (2), Taylor Barker (2), Isidora Terpenka (1) and Darcy Simmons (1).

Thanks for a great year ladies you have made us very proud!!!

We also need to congratulate Ben Parent who competed at the U16 Boys National Club Championships also in Montreal this past weekend.  Ben participated as part of the Hamilton team who finished in 9th position of 17 teams.  The team went 1 and 4 for the event.  Their 5-4 victory over CAMO 2 was crucial in their final positioning.  Ben was instrumental in this exciting game where he earned a Game All-star for his excellent play.  Congrats Ben!
