KW Water Polo Club participated with teams in the U12, High School Girls, and High School Boys divisions at the March Madness tournament held in Toronto at the Etobicoke Olympium.

U12
KW Black U12 team takes Gold at March madness tournament in their division. The KW Black U12 team continued their ‎dominant play, as they won gold. They went unbeaten on the weekend winning the gold medal. Congratulations.
Our KW Red team had some very close games and ended up winning their last game‎. Congratulations on a very enthusiastic weekend.
Congratulations to all KW U12 players. You have worked tirelessly at practices all year. You have represented yourself and KW with enthusiasm and pride. We are proud of you all.
High School Girls
On Saturday the girls played DDO and lost 8-4, then took a 10-4 loss to Mavericks and ended the day with a 5-3 loss to Hammer.  Sunday morning they won against Hammer 2.
The girls faced 3 strong teams on Saturday but were defeated.  Our team was challenged with substitute goalies and coaches, but benefitted from 3 U14 players, and played quite well together overall.  On Sunday we faced a different Hammer team and came out with a win to end the weekend.
High School Boys
The Inferno U16/18 Boys team captured gold medals at the recent March Madness Water Polo Tournament in Etobicoke. The team went undefeated during the tournament, winning three and tying one. The three wins came against all three of the Mavericks squads.  The Inferno squad started off on Saturday with a 16-8 win, followed later in the day with a 19-10 win in the evening match up.  The team was back in the water early Sunday morning, and had a great match with the visiting team from Winnipeg, ending in an 11-11 draw. The team then had a long wait until late afternoon, when they posted another lopsided win. Congratulations to the athletes and coaches! Once again, you did us proud!
