KW Water Polo Club is changing its nickname from KW Inferno to KW Kraken!

Transition to gear fully branded with this look will happen over a period of several years. We'll start with T-Shirts which we budget to do every year. We also budget for caps but if necessary, existing swim caps may be used inside out. We are likely to focus on all black bathing suits rather than branded suits for game days. Doing this will also simplify things for teams which are created by combining with players from other clubs.

"Well, if you believe such things, there's a beast does the bidding of Davy Jones. A fearsome creature with giant tentacles that'll suction your face clean off, and drag an entire ship down to the crushing darkness. The Kraken. Imagine, the last thing you know on God's green earth is the roar of the Kraken...

―Joshamee Gibbs to Will Turner - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

The Kraken is a legendary sea monster, a leviathan sent to prey on unwary ships and mariners. A fearsome creature with tentacles, closely resembling a giant squid. It was said to be the length of 10 ships. This terrible beast would be a subject of many legends and lore that circulated for centuries on the Seven SeasFew had seen the Kraken and lived to tell the tale.

Now the legend of the Kraken continues to the present day in the form of the newly risen, KW KRAKEN Water Polo! This feared, mythical monster of the seas represents our club's fierce, competitive spirit and the way our opponents will feel when facing us in battle. Just like the Kraken, the water is our home, and WE WILL RISE!

UNLEASH THE KRAKEN!!!!
