The
KW Kraken 14U boys had an early start to the first game in the Winter classic tournament. The boys had a slow start but eventually grudged up some solid plays. Unfortunately, it was not soon enough and they lost to Hammer 3-11.
The second game was played against the Southwest team. The two teams battled back and forth at the beginning of the game. After a few goals in a row the young Krakens came out victorious with a 10-6 win.
The third game was played on Sunday versus the Mavs W team. The boys had so many good shots on net during the game but the Mavericks goalie was strong. The games resulted in a 4-11 win for the Mavs W.
The fourth and final game was played against Mavs Red. This game was cray-sea rough. The Mavs Red were a very strong team but the boys put forth unrelenting effort. They demonstrated some of there very strong defensive skills but could not hold off the team and lost 3-13.
The 14U boys played extremely well this weekend and have really learned how to play as a unified team.
