The final round of NCL play finished this past weekend and all the girls played great!
There were five games this weekend. A win against Titans and a loss to DDO on Friday. A loss to CAMO and a win against Tiburon on Saturday. A closer loss to CAMO on Sunday.
Training has been intense leading up to this weekend and the team showed a lot of grit, determination and skill. Despite the strength of some of the Quebec teams, the junior members, some playing up from 14U, showed that they are more than able to step up to the challenge and are a group to be reconned with.
All the girls should be extremely proud of themselves and what they accomplished.
With most of the regular season play completed, it appears that the 16UGs Southwest Stingrays having a solid lock on third place going into the Eastern Nationals in April.
