13U Game Day in Brantford
This weekend our KW kraken 13U team started off our season strong winning all three games! We had the smallest bench but in every game we had the largest score!
Game one was against Scarborough's team Shadow. This was the first game of the season and athletes had coaches and parents biting their nails in the first half as we were losing, but with some adjustments to their game and defence KW kraken finished strong winning the game 8:7.
Game 2 was against Hamilton and it is safe to say KW definitely showed them who's boss. Winning that game 14:4 there really was little to no competition but as true krakens we played our best until the very end!
Lastly Game 3 was only 2 quarters and was played against shadow Scarborough where the game was also won with a 5 goal differential. This was due to the fact that conditioning wise KW kraken was way more prepared, the athletes in the words of dory from finding nemo would "Just keep swimming swimming swimming. Just keep swimming."
Overall coaches were very proud of the teams outcome and are excited for the upcoming season and what it and the athletes have to offer. - Trinity, Mackenzie, Sara
