Recruiting Bonus

For the 2019 - 2020 season, we are experimenting with the introduction of a recruiting bonus. The intention is to reward members who actively work to increase our membership. Existing members can earn $500 for each new member they bring into KW Water Polo's development programs. This is a one-time bonus which will be paid only if the new recruit becomes a fully paid member for at least one season. Some guiding principles apply:

  • Most importantly, the new member must name the member who referred them to our program when they register online, not afterwards.
  • Any member returning for the 2019 - 2020 season is eligible to earn this recruiting bonus.
  • One new member recruited by you = $500, two new members recruited by you = $1000, and so on.
  • This bonus is for any new fully paid member that is accepted into the 19U, 16U, 14U or 12U KW Water Polo club development program - see the Age Divisions page if you are not sure about years of birth that qualify.
  • A new member is defined as anyone who was not a member of the KW Water Polo Club in the 2018 - 2019 season.
  • The new member can be a sibling, a member of another club, or a player that is returning to our club after taking a break.
  • The new member must be assessed and meet the standards set by our coaching staff.
  • The new member must be accepted by the club as a new member.
  • The new member's fees must be paid in full before the bonus will be paid.

Presently, this is an initiative for the 2019 - 2020 season only.
