Our U14 girls (grades
6, 7 & 8) returned from Gatineau this weekend stronger from a new
experience…… a U14 girls gender specific tournament!
This is an experience that has not been offered for many years which gave our players the opportunity to play with some of the female players within the Ottawa region. This event was unique in that the participating players from all clubs were divided in to three equal teams. This format created some great competition amongst the teams along with opportunity for our girls to get to know the girls that are members of the Ottawa Titans and the Gatineau Water Polo Club. Water polo is a small community so it is a fantastic opportunity to develop friendships with the other players within Ontario and Quebec. The improvement of every player was evident over the course of the weekend and the Coaches are looking forward to watching this team continue to develop and compete in future female team events! Special thank you to Coach Glen who was involved in coaching all 3 teams throughout the weekend!
